Augustinians, Carmelites, Jesuits, Dominicans and Franciscans were the religious orders who came to the Philippines.

The Spaniards think of themselves as the superior over the Filipino natives especially since they were the foreigners as well as the conqueror of the Pilipinos. The natives wanted to fit in because slowly the Spaniards are taking over and they weren't aware of it and the spaniards are like the "in" group where people are the leaders and since the Spaniards are doing different thing that makes them want to do the same.

The style of the San Augustine Church is Baroque because the designs and style have exaggerated motion and as well as very clear.

Spread of Catholicism

Spain spread Catholicism to Portugal and Mexico. The people didn't immediately grasp the religion Catholic but at the end something help changed their mind and slowly, they finally accepted it.

San Augustine Church

The San Augustine Church was really exciting and very memorable for me because I learned a lot of things about the belief of Catholics as well as the paintings of very popular saints and so on. I was really shocked at the same time amazed when I saw that there is wedding. It wasn't the first time I've been there. I've beent there when I was young because my Tito is about to get married. The San Augustine Church was really popular for weddings.
